Informational Meetings for Museum Staff on 8/11

For museum employees, the surest path to fair pay is being in a union. Did you know that the average cultural worker who's in a union is paid 20% more than those who aren't union members? See "the union difference" for specific museum titles on our AICWU Instagram feed.

And that's not all. Union membership is also the way to pay equity. While the typical union member across all sectors makes 19% more than comparable workers who aren't in a union, the union difference is almost 26% for b/Black workers and 39% for Latinx workers.

How's that possible? Come to one of our informational meetings and we'll talk about it!
